Art/Space Studio opened it’s doors here in Fountain Valley in May of 2005. It was meant to be, first and foremost, a place of learning. But learning without inspiration is colorless. So, from the very beginning, I wanted all the students who come here to be surrounded by things that inspire them. The walls have been filled with an ever changing display of paintings, weavings, calligraphy- art that inspires me, my students, and everyone who comes through the doors.
Having a space to teach, invite others artists, whose work I admired, to teach, showcase the work of craftsmen and artists, especially my students- this is the environment I wanted to create.
