Orvieto- a hill town about 200 km north of Rome Every street, almost every building, was a painting waiting to be made. Having only one day there, we saw as much of the town as we could in 10 hours. Almost half of the photographs I took over the first five days were taken on that one day in Orvieto, August 8, 2007

After four days in Rome, a 10 day cruise around Italy took us to Greece (Corfu), Croatia (Dubrovnik), Italy (Naples, Venice, Rome and Naples), and Malta. Every day was a marathon to see as much as I could; take as many photos as I could. These paintings are from those photographs-August 5- 19, 2007 |
